Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Officer-Purchase Department to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the availability of materials and services at the best possible cost and quality.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements for the company.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, production, and logistics, to align procurement activities with business needs.
Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and vendor performance to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior purchasing staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or a related field.
CA Intern with a strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
Relevant degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a senior or managerial role.
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in procurement.
